Our bath dust is a fine, silky powder that dissolves into warm bath water for a burst of colour, fragrance and gentle fizz. Handmade in Brandon, Suffolk, in small batches and inspired entirely by the sweetshop. Think fizzy sweets, cola cubes, candy floss, pear drops. Nostalgic, playful, and the kind of bath scent you’ll actually look forward to.

Why bath dust rather than a bath bomb

Bath dust gives you the same fizzy, fragrant experience as a bath bomb, but you control how much you use. Want a light scent and a hint of fizz? A spoonful. Want a full sensory soak? Tip the whole bag in. It also dissolves faster, mixes evenly, and comes in a bigger range of scents than a single bath bomb  so you can try more without committing to one big product.

How to use

Run a warm bath. Sprinkle in as much bath dust as you’d like start with a couple of tablespoons and add more for a stronger colour and scent. Stir gently with your hand to disperse. Step in and enjoy. Re-seal the bag afterwards and store somewhere cool and dry.

Bath Dust FAQs

What’s the difference between bath dust and a bath bomb?

Bath dust is loose powder in a bag; a bath bomb is the same idea compressed into a solid ball. Dust dissolves faster and you control how much you use. Bombs give you a bigger show of fizz all at once. Both do the same thing scent, colour and a bit of fizz for your bath.

How much should I use?

Two to three tablespoons is a good starting point. Add more for a stronger scent and deeper colour. A whole bag makes for a proper indulgent soak.

Is it safe for children?

Yes, the formulas are skin-friendly. Always supervise young children in the bath and keep the powder out of their reach when not in use.

Does it stain the bath?

The colour rinses away with the water and doesn’t stain a standard bath. If you have a very light or porous surface, rinse the tub after use, as you would with any coloured bath product.

How long does one bag last?

Depending on how much you use, one bag will do 2–5 baths.
